Why do paragliding prices in Tenerife vary so much?

Looking around the island you will find tandem flights between €90 and €150. That difference is not a whim. Behind every price there are decisions that are felt later, in the air.

A cheaper flight usually means equipment with more hours on it, less time up there, the video charged separately or transport at your own expense. None of that is illegal, but it is worth knowing before booking rather than on arriving at the take-off.

What the €150 price includes

• HD video of the flight, recorded during the flight and delivered afterwards, at no extra cost.
• Return transport with the corresponding authorisation.
• Civil liability and accident insurance.
• Thermal jacket. It is considerably colder up there than on the coast.
• Free cancellation. If conditions are not right.

There are no extras and no supplements. The price you see is the price you pay.

How long does the flight last?

Between 20 and 30 minutes in the air, depending on the conditions on the day.

Where do you fly from?

Enminube operates only in the north of Tenerife. The area is chosen each day according to wind and visibility, always looking for the best possible flight.

Are all paragliding companies authorised?

No. To operate legally in the Canary Islands a company has to appear in the Canary Islands Government register of complementary tourist activities. Enminube is registered under number TA-4-0026186.23.

That number certifies that the pilots are qualified, that the equipment passes its inspections and that the insurance is valid. It is something you can ask any company for before booking.
